Hi, Can I paint your dog?
I meet many beautiful dogs in the park and often I stop their owners to ask if I can take photographs.
I then take my photographs into my studio to make study paintings - this keeps my painting chops up.
Recently I’ve been transitioning from painting in acrylics, over to oils.
This takes t i m e and practice, practice, and more practice.
So I thought it might be rather lovely to share my progress of these dogs - from photograph to final painting.
So here goes a beautiful Bedlington Whippet I met last year and painted this week.
